We all know reading to your child is SO beneficial to them especially during those early years. This month's theme is snow, winter, and Arctic animals! I have a mix of board books and read aloud's (some from my classroom) that we have been loving. At the bottom, you will also find a free pdf of the Arctic Animal book!
Board Books:
I keep board books in my toddler's bookshelf for easy access. The bookshelf is around his height for that reason. I want him to be able to grab a book when he wants and explore it. Board books are study, thick and easy for him to flip the pages.
Read Aloud's: Read Aloud's/Picture books may not be as sturdy and interactive as board books but they are still important! Read Aloud's are a great way to build language skills. They focus on introducing new vocabulary and grammar structures.
