Ingredients
1 medium sweet potato
1 small grated apple
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups self rising flour
1 tsp cinnamon
(optional) melted chocolate or peanut butter for topping
Preparation
Preheat oven 350F degrees.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and combine.
Sprinkle flour on counter and knead. If your mixture is too sticky, slowly add more flour.
Spread dough on a 10x12, 9x13 baking dish.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Let cool and add melted chocolate or peanut butter.
Cut into bars.
Notes: I recommended poking holes on the sweet potatoes, slightly covering in olive oil and baking for 40-45 mins. They are sweeter that way. If you don't have time to bake beforehand, you can microwave them for about 5-10 minutes.
